9am Saturday 12th October Anne Tucker - CTA (O), TSTA (O) Workshop: The Power and Importance of Belonging. Using Hungers to our and other’s advantage. This session will be in two parts: First, we will explore the benefits of belonging to national and international TA organisations; what structures, roles and functions are of benefit to not only us but our global community, not only professionally but also personally. Second, we will consider what TA theories are applicable for organisations and the potential impactfulness or otherwise of applying them. So come with your openness, questions and preparedness to be curious and have some fun – yes, working in organisations can be testing, as well as fun! Anne Tucker has a background in Health as a Registered Comprehensive Nurse. Anne was introduced to TA in 1994. She continues to enjoy the depth as well as the simplicity of concepts of TA to understand the complexities of human interactions. She gained the international qualification of CTA (O) in 1999 and TSTA (O) in 2015. Anne served as the ANZTAA President and committee member for 7 years. She has been the ITAA regional representative for New Zealand, Australia and Singapore since 2020. She is the Chair of the Bylaws and co-chair of the Membership committee as well as a member of the Ethics committee. Anne has provided TA training in Croatia, Ukraine, England and New Zealand. She uses the theories of Transactional Analysis to inform her thinking and understand the dynamics of relationships and organisational dynamics.
